Our beautiful municipality offers children 13 play areas spread across the whole of the municipality (see map).

As well as allowing toddlers to slide, climb and swing, these endless spaces for play and discovery are also great places for (grand)parents to meet and chat.

It's also this desire for conviviality that's driving our Ecolo-Groen group to offer more places to relax and get together. While young children are not left out, as most of the 13 play areas are designed for 3-12 year olds, it would be advisable to ensure that teenagers (girls and boys), (young) adults and the elderly can also meet there.

A number of teenagers, for example, are calling for the skate park on rue Père de Deken to be refurbished or for sports equipment (pull-up bars or bicycles, for example) to be installed. Also, some elderly people would certainly be happy to get a few minutes of daily exercise if pedal cycles were installed next to some benches.

Ecolo-Groen is in favour of and supports these proposals, which offer a breath of fresh air, exchanges and are beneficial to health. These are just a few proposals.
